2009 4WD Reg cab Taco. Keepin it simple.
So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
bought a 09 brand new. just $20K. financing brought it up around 21 something but then I had a windfall and paid it off. My monthly was $308 before that.

Is that 21k or so for a base 4x4 regular cab or for a sr5 4x4 regular cab?

No it's base, and I think you're right about them not making a reg cab sr5 anymore. It's also a 5sp. not sure why its so high prolly some clear coat sealer or some bs like that.

Just came home with er. 21k and I let em have that bull bar.The truck came with a receiver hitch all weather mats, and a sliding back glass which helps explain the price.I just wish I had a solid back glass. Overall I am very pleased, but the tranny doesn't feel as good as the 6 speed in the 07 that I had.Shifting just feels a little mushy. Maybe it'll break in nice.I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Amen to the sliding glass window! I'd take it over a solid window any day.

Thanks. I am impressed with the cloth toyota used on the seat, and the stereo seams to function better than my 07 did, just more user friendly bigger display.I hope to get used to the clutch. Do these trucks have the r150 trans?

6 lug tacomas have a ton more after market support rather than the 5 lugs.

Has anybody installed a new exhaust system on their reg cab? Ive seen people install mufflers but I haven't seen entire systems. I'm trying to add a little power. I saw where magnaflow makes one for the 2.7 access cab and I was wondering if it would fit a reg cab...
