Got to the bottom of the second USPS box of mail that was waiting for us upon our return and was surprised to find a second mount with the note, had to read the notes to realize that it's a replacement for the first. Will get that taken care of and sent back promptly. I can say that the first one has given us no problems and it is still one of my favorite modifications to the truck.

    X2

I missed those pictures the first time around. Almost makes me want to cry. Kidding, but I did let out an audible gasp from the shock when I saw those photos.

Wow, I just tucked my connector up under the headliner and I wrapped one small section of the harness with black rescue tape so you can't see the colored wires.

Installed the bracket just seconds ago. Really simple. It is worth the hype. Cleared up the peripheral vision a lot. Now I won't have to duck my head down or sideways and risk taking my eyes and focus off of traffic. Thank you MrYo. Check will be going out tomorrow.

Got mine in the mail today, installed it in 10 minutes after two big Gray Goose martinis. Note to anyone else that has a '10 that's wired up to a camera: The white connector sits in a slot on the OEM mirror. You can remove it by pulling up off the mirror and then it's free to tuck up under the headliner. The headliner still deforms downward slightly, but it's MUCH better than if you leave the white connector in its spot on the mirror. Disappointed for 2 minutes, took another crack at it, found that the connector slides off and now 99% happy with the look.

Check will be in the mail tomorrow.

    Got #C12 earlier this week.

I can't figure out how to remove the mirror from its present location in my 2006. Here are pics. Do I put a coin in the slot at the bottom and twist? Maybe a screwdriver? Seems that might break the glass if I force too hard. I tried squeezing the sides together but the plastic feels too rigid. Does it just slide?

I had to pry up on the sides of the mount with a screw driver - couldn't push the sides in and pull it off. Used a small screw driver and it didn't take much prying to get the cover off

just this morning I was headed east directly into the sun, put my visor down and noticed that the mirror in the higher position also blocks the sun better than those oe little black dots did- yet another reason to relocate the stock mirror location :D

    Installed #265 today.

Hardest part was tucking the wire harness into the headliner.

Superb product. Huge improvement in visibility.
