2009 Tacoma OBD2 Code P0306 Help

I know that this means that cylinder six is misfiring but which cylinder is number 6? I am going to change the plug and coil and see if this helps. Have any of you ever had this problem? I also have run Lucas fuel injector treatment before and was wondering if this could be the problem that I am having? I have only used it about 8 times in 3 years. I was also told it could be the gas. It does not sound like the engine is misfiring at all but I am getting awful gas mileage. Around 16 or 17 at best. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. I bet that it was the additive that has created this issue. I am going to change the plug and then switch wires and see if that works. I have also read that it can be an oxygen sensor, fuel injector, burned exhaust valve, faulty catalytic converter, poor compression and or a defective computer. I sure hope it the plug. I really appreciate your help.

Come to find out that the computer kicks out that code when to my dismay the oil resorvoir cover is under the driver side headlamp and you are running on 1/2 quart of oil. I had my oil changed at a local tire shop. I will never do this again. Changed the oil and filters a couple of times and deleted the code and reset the computer and I am still having no issues with the motor. If you can do it yourself, you should. Other people do not give a shit about your stuff. Thanks for all of the help. I just wanted to let you know.

 

Not the first time I've heard that.
I had a Toyota dealer leave my radiator cap on top of the intake manifold.

My trick?

Any caps or covers are placed on top of the hood latch.
Can't close the hood until the cap is replaced.
