Went for a ride in the mountains yesterday:D
You can see the Great Salt Lake out in the distance. This is in Malad, ID.

The Taco and my Mom. (She has to use a step stool to get in and out:p)

    Another view of the lake

These are some steep mountains. They call one of the mountains here elevator hollow cuz it is damn near straight up.
Pictures don't do anything justice, but this little hill was fucking steep. The first time I went up it I was locked front and rear and in 4-Lo and I crept up it. The tires slipped a little but not much. Going back down it I just skied off of it:eek: My mom wasn't wearing her seat belt and smacked into the back of the seat pretty hard. haha. I went back up it unlocked, well tried. My traction control just freaked out... (I'm pretty sure it is supposed to be completely off in 4-lo...:frusty:) I backed to the bottom and locked the rear and tried to go up it and I couldn't get up it at all. I was just tearing it up no matter what I tried (didn't try getting a run at the hill though, that may have got the job done), locked the front and and just crept right up it again:D My mom wore her seat belt that time;)
Forgot to air down haha. So I did the whole ride at 42psi. Was a little rough at times.
    It was a fun drive:D

Trying. Hardware store had only 1 bolt for all the ones I need. Does anyone know the sizes for the bumper mounts/. I know the tow hooks are like M12 1.25 pitch (or something like that Eric said) but im basically guessing at the side and center bolts. Just need longer side ones.

Got all but four pieces to finish tacking on today, then weld it up, mount it and make sure its good then I'll paint it.Any opinions on paint?

I need longer side ones. The center ones will work fine, no need for a nut tho I can mount mine straight forward and in.

Nvm Tim told me the sizes.

Other than that hill right there is was just a scenic ride on a pretty well grated road. Nothing challenging. But that view is pretty cool:D

Really? mine worked fine. I had a 15mm and a 19mm on each side..that bolts to the bottom of the frame ya? Then two 14mms up above the frame kinda. Then the one stud in the center of the frame rails..

tried.. he wont ship now :pout:

those are some of the best sometimes!

I think its due to my wreck a little, but Tony said he had to set a spacer on his as well cuz it was a tad bit to long. Tim hooked up up with the sizes too so hopefully I can get this rolling...after I finish hw:(

oh ya..been there done that. Had to tow a freaking tractor for John deere once with a god damn 1/4 chevy cause our diesal Dodge was getting serviced..it..SUCKED lol

but yea thats a good point. But i'll just get some good pads and possibly some slotted rotors for now. I can't afford to jump up to a 16'' rim and buy new tires. Plus i like my 15s :D haha

But it would be nice thats for sure.

Damn anyone see the big Relentless blow up?

Not gonna lie..i read through it..and if i could..id back up the OP.

In the emails that Eric posted up, the OP asked for two longhorn cut outs were the two out side holes were on the lower skid..not one big one in the middle..

Eric screwed up yes, and i think the OP is a dushe for doing what he did. Oh well.

    End rant/

sorry, had to say something after reading it lol

Lol I almost know what your going through Adam. I had the bumper completely tacked up, went to bolt it on to check it all out and the bolt holes dont line up. Hopefully will be on next weekend when I run to my buddies shop.
