I started a new company last year. We create virtual reality software for the treatment of anxiety and phobia. Basically, you receive the same experience you would receive from a clinical psychologist. However, the therapy is delivered online at a fraction of the price a psychologist would charge you. We have received initial funding for the company and will launch late July or early August.

On Tuesday I'm pitching my company to an audience of 250 people that include angle investors and VC companies. There will be over 1Billion in investment dollars at the event.

    Wish me luck!!!

    Cheers.

Yes exactly. It's exposure therapy delivered online with virtual reality environments that are used for the exposure component of the therapy instead of in-vivo exposure. I've published research articles (many other psychologists have as well) indicating the effectiveness of virtual reality exposure therapy. It will even help people like Chris4x4 with spider phobia!!

    Cheers.!

We are hoping to launch the first of two products this week. It is designed to help people overcome their fear of public speaking. Our fear of dentistry software will be released later this month!

If you have a fear of public speaking, our software will help you become more comfortable for your next public speaking event. It's a three step process. 1) Psychoeducation ... you learn about what anxiety it, how we treat it, and how relaxation and exposure will help you overcome your fear of public speaking. 2) Relaxation ... you learn two relaxation techniques. 3) Exposure ... you are exposed to a virtual audience while you practice your public speaking.

The software is based on a wealth of research. You receive the same experience you would receive if you went to a psychologist but at a fraction of the cost.
