I specifically asked the finance lady at the dealership and she said anything beyond a leveling kit could. :notsure:

Well you have been misinformed bro. It only voids out parts that might have gotten damaged from the lift. Research bro

    X2

Lift / leveling kits do NOT automtatically void warranties, particularly if they are dealer installed. Best to check with your dealer beforehand. Many shops are warranty approved. My experience has been that the local dealer offers better or comparable costs for many things (wheels + tires, etc)? Like with anything else, it pays to do your homework and ask lots of questions.

Bronze skid plate.(match for TRD bronze beadlock wheels)

    Closest color match: rustoleum-metallic.
    *aged copper* paint&primer.

    Should be sick.
I'll post more pics when installed.

Ok well I have spoken with the lady that tried to sell me the warranty at the dealership and a warranty rep from Toyota Financial Services (I consider that doing homework). Both told me putting a lift on can really complicate things. Sooo, glad you guys have had better luck than I have.

Sorry to hijack your thread Jason. Really like the skid plate color match idea.

    Thanks. I think it'll work.
I just ordered a TRD die-cut dark grey decal off eBay, 2.5 x 8 inches.
I'll find an appropriate placement for it on the skid plate.
I think that will work out too.

The revtek will work for now.
I wanted 285s on it ASAP.

Down the road I'll likely put a bad ass lift kit on er.
I'll be doing lots of research to find the best one. Not to mention creating a lift kit fund.

Got an airaid mxp. Took out stock one. While setting up the airaid, almost installed the shop guys found the airpump bracket was missing.
So they had to take it all apart re-install the stock one.
Not too happy about it. Took 2 hours labour. The guys at cap-it in Richmond bc were great about it. Gave me a break and only charged me an hour. Getting more work done at cap-it. They said they'll shave off time here and there to make up for the hour "itll be like it never happened" was their idea.
Great outfit. First class operation. I think they're only in Canada. So anyone up here needs work done. Take it to cap-it.
Now I'm stuck with an airaid that doesn't fit. For now. The part is coming.
If there were more choices in cai for my 2012 id return the airaid and get another brand. Let's say airaid was indifferent to my dilemma. Seemed that I was a bother to them. That being said my demeanor could have been more pleasant. Shit happens.

Painting the skid plate went to shit. Sent it to powdercoat.
Got the exact match for the wheels.
Probably better in the long run.

Awesome truck man, I really like it. I had a 2009 TRD Sport 4WD, it was an amazing truck. I like the 2012 even better.... I miss my fake hoodscoop. :)

Hey, let me know how the Airaid does for you, I am considering one myself. Love the wheels too, I have the same ones in gun metal grey. Love em.

This same Airaid is set to arrive on my doorstep tomorrow for my 2012. Right now, my truck is at the Toyota dealer having the TRD Supercharger installed. I'd rather have the TRD CAI, but it won't be ready supposedly until Winter of this year. When I told the tech that I was installing the Airaid CAI, he said it might not be compatible. I called Airaid, guy there said that if the throttle body was moved, it may not fit right. I'm debating on sending it back and waiting for the TRD to come out. How do you like the Airaid so far?

Do you or any one else know if the throttle body moves with Supercharger install?
