What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

After a bit of internal debate, I removed the bedside TRD decals. I think it looks cleaner and I figured this way I won't have to worry about them peeling over the years. Sitting in the sun, the decals came off with just a thumbnail. Some Goop and a little elbow grease removed all traces of the adhesive residue. A little spot wash and wax and you can't tell they were ever there. Removed the dealer logo from my wife's new Escape while I was at it, too.

 

Got my 10K service done on my 11' Taco yesterday. Going to be ordering my wheels, tires and suspension stuff as soon as my birthday gets here. Only a week left!

Added the TRD Stainless Steel Exhaust Tip. I know its only for appearance, but it's a big improvement over the stock tailpipe.

I also moved my compressor switch...had on the lower level of blank switches but I kept hitting it with my knee..

Wow! So many blank switches! I had to stuff 2 behind the dash to make room for my 2 new ones the other day.

 

Just switch the wires to make down off. That is what I did with mine and it works great. I still hit them with my knees but I like to think I'm just checking to make sure everything is off.

 

Used it to haul this fella home. It screams 1972 on the inside. Love it.

 

You get any water in the cab in the deep section around the 1:15 part?

 

Where did you put your dimmer switch?

 

Camped and wheeled in it with the family at Bald Mountain OHV trail. A few brutal but good stair step sections and no damage. About .5 miles left o go and I roll into a piece of granite that dimpled my rear bumper (the same piece of granite I told my buddy to watch out for!). Oh well amazing trip and maybe a new bumper.

Routed my iPod cable to my glove box instead of above the radio. Nothing too exciting. I'm not a handy man by any stretch, but it was surprisingly extremely easy.

 

Any place to wheel some near Lincoln. Moved here a year ago
