Need to know the name of this belt pulley

    Magnaflow exhaust 3" rough country suspension 18" XD spy 797 rims
    So my truck has been making a strange noise for about 3 weeks and I thought it was the water pump going bad but turns out it was this pulley it finally went out lastnight but I can not find a diagram so if someone could please tell me the name of it I would appreciate it.

    This is a 2007 Toyota Tacoma v6 4.0

    It's the one on the bottom you can see it busted.

    That's the idler pulley. There are two per motor.

    Very easy. Remove the belt and unscrew that bolt. You could probably do it under ten minutes.

    Oh, I wouldn't drive it until you get it fixed. It appears the guts are out of that bearing and if the idler were to come off, your belt will be destroyed in a matter of seconds

    Just a technical correction, you do not have 2 idlers per motor. Some have two, but not all. Some don't even have an idler at all. You WILL have a tensioner pulley on all motors though.

    To the OP: From the looks of that photo, you have a two idler and one tensioner motor. The tensioner is the one in the middle. What you want to ask for is the lower idler pulley. The time to do it is not much.

    1. release tension on belt by pulling on tensioner with appropriate wrench/socket
    2. remove belt from pulley being replaced
    3. replace pulley
    4. reinstall belt
    Should take about 15 to 20 minutes depending on what tools you have available.
