Made a metal bracket to hold my cell phone. I like this location, but everything else is a vent mount. Too hot to block the vent. Didn't want to drill holes just yet. So I used double sided tape on both ends of the bracket.

Love it. It was the folks but they had no more use for it and were just going to give it away. So many memories in that thing. I had to save it. Can't wait to use it over the 4th.

Wasn't quite sure. It looks like it went a little past the base of the door but not much and not for long. I've heard our 2nd gens don't seal worth a darn compared to the 1st gens.

I jammed it behind the dash. With it unplugged the dash lights still work, but my 4wd and shift selector lights by the shifter wouldn't come on. So it is just tucked back in the dash with the alarm microphone as well.

I have no answers for you as I grew up in the panhandle. Might be a section for members in your area or a thread where they discuss that you could ask though.

I hear ya man. The first thing I can think of is falling asleep in a rain storm and hearing the drops hit the roof. Sounded like bacon sizzling. Oh, if you have small ones, be careful. When I was little I once managed to fall out between the canvas cover and the mattress support. lol

Yesterday. Backed into a tree trying to turn around on a tight trail. Bumper held up fine against the trunk but apparently there was an extra branch that I didn't notice. Put a couple little dents and scratched it up. Picture is pretty shit.

Yesterday we had a mod day here in southern New England. I had my gauges done and a cb wired in. Thanks to everybody that helped.

I feel your pain. backed into a pointed granite boulder and dented my factory rear bumper....a few more and a new rear bumper is justified!
