Cell Phone carrier

SO I am going to switch cell phone carriers because mine sucks. And I need help figuring out where the best deal is and who has the best service. Here are my specifications. I need unlimited text messaging and at least 300 anytime minutes and unlimited nights and weekends! So please list cell phone carriers and good plans.

 

I am with At&t and before when they were cingular it was great. Now it seems like I would be better off with


I think we are paying ~$120/mo with three phones and unlimited text and we are sharing a pool of I beleive 800 minutes. At&t is not horrible, but sometimes there are dead zones around town that make no sense.

I have had Qwest for 13+ years, LOVE them!! Unfortunately they are selling their cell service to Verizon. I'm not to excited about that.
From what I hear from friends & co-workers:


Verizon is very good

T-mobile- good

Alltel- crappy

If you are switching now, you should be able to negotiate a smoking deal. Get as many freebies up front (car charger, etc...). Sometimes going to a local kiosk is better. Good luck!

 

Our company uses Sprint.....not sure how cheap it is but the free nationwide roaming kicks ass.

 

We have four phones on our verizon plan. We share 1400 minutes, which is more than enough. I pay 120$ per month with txting on only two phones. I can honestly say with my PDA phone that I have very rarely lost service.

 

Well, I have an iPhone and I work for at&t. So... AT&T FTW!!

 

AT&T has worked well for me and it's pretty cheap. I have unlimited text, nights and weekends and roll over minutes to last me 25 years.

 

I have a Sprint phone and an AT&T Blackberry and travel alot.....the AT&T by far has better service in all areas that I travel. My Sprint phone is ok but if you leave the main road, highways, interstates its hit and miss on the service. If you dont ever travel then look at your area and who has the best coverage where you will spend the majority of your time so your happy with the choice. I have had AT&T for a long time and very satisfied. We have two blackberrys and it runs about 125 a month.

 

My wife and I have Verizon with two phones and a broadband wireless card that we share for about 150 a month-
Unlimited Calls on "in" network, free nights and weekends, unlimited texting, unlimited data on the wireless card.

Works great nearly everywhere...I did have trouble getting the data on my phone to connect yesterday...but nearest I can tell I was about 60-80 miles from the nearest cell tower....so I'll give them a mulligan.

I got a free Samsung Rant.....it's a great site to get phones cheap. It also included 2nd day shipping
