    My parents used to do that to ground us from tv/computer/nintendo. They'd just take the power cords off things.

    years ago when both my sister and I lived with my Mom, my sister pissed me off so I would disconnect the coax for the modem at the splitter in the mech room. she would see me on the internet then 15 minutes later when she was on the computer the internet didn't work, this went on for aboot 2 weeks.

    My parents started locking the computer room door, little did they know I knew how to pick locks and that went on for almost 6 months before my brother was mad at me one day cause I smacked him so he ratted me out for it.
