Couldn't find in the note - okay, honestly, I lost the note - with the second generation adapter or this thread if I owed additional funds for the replacement for the original, so I tossed a fiver in the envelope just in case and if I owe more I still have the manilla with your address on it that I can use to address another envelope to you. For that case if anyone can key up and let me know if I need to hustle down to the post office again I'd appreciate it.

#1 with first generation adapter on return leg to you.

Stopped by the window replacement shop today. (Not what you think...they replaced it recently for a rock chip. That's why I was so worried about *&%$ing it up.)
The guy showed me how easy it was to remove the assembly.
    1. Just grab the plastic cover and twist it off, less than 1/4 turn.
    2. The mirror arm is still held in place against the window mount, so I had to pry up a little tab with my thumb and the whole unit slides upward along the glass off of the mount.

    Good to go!
    Cheque is in the mail.

I believe the replacement was free if you had already bought one of the first ones. At least that better be the case because I didn't give anymore cash money when I sent my original back lol

Yeah, I just got squared away by the man himself and I have to say I'm still very grateful for all he's done for us.

The plastic piece has releases on the left and right side. You need to pull it open wide.

Think of squeezing someone's cheeks, but prying open with your index finger. :)

Checks in the mail. One of those things that makes you say why didn't I think of that. And why did Toyota put the mirror there in the first place.
