It's rustoleum wheel paint, graphite. I have thought about painting the camper. If I do, I'll refrain from posting pics so you don't hurt yourself. :D

I wonder if our lugs are made of steel or not.

If they are there's this stuff, sold in a local hardware store (and gun shops I'm sure), that you put on the steel and through a chemical reaction turns them a flat black.

It's real purpose is to restore faded guns back to original black.

Sounds similar to ospho. It cleans up metals and converts rust to a paintable surface.

For real, black would be sweet... and a lot cheaper to achieve and maintain than color matched

Its not really blue and the finish depends on the metal. There are different patinas that well"color"metal.

Probably not, I doubt they sell kits in hardware stores out gun shops. But it will give you a nice finish, if I had a big enough tank I would be tempted to do my rims.

Havet been here in awhile because the last month has been super horrible. Anyway, I'm selling my truck... so my next 2 mods are a new windshield and a for sale sign... pics tomorrow... PM me for any comments because I don't read through the pages to find things that you quote me on, etc... Looking to get around $6k

Decided I better inspect my spare tire. I wanted an experts opinion so I took it to my local tire shop and they informed me it was 10 years old and the cracks running parallel to the tread was no good. So I got one from a buddy for free and mounted it on the rim. It has about 50% tread left and is the same size as my other tires :D
