I know its kind of a wierd question, just wondering if anyone with a truck that has a minnor lift with some slightly bigger that stock tires has any issues fitting through a 9x7 garage door

    Thanks.

My 05 did, 2.5 lift with 33s......08 only lifted 1/2" so no problem either. The ceiling is high but door opening is standard height

OOOO big wise guy with 9,000 posts... Must suck not having a life, is your mom disappointed that your such a loser or does she simply not care ? was that link saved in your favorites ?

Cool good to know, just making sure as im truck shopping. Would suck to buy a sweat truck but not be able to fit it through my 7' high door.
I know doors now on newer homes are 8' , but im not that fortunate.

70.3" stock height + 3" suspension lift + 1" from 33" tires = 74.3" total height, or 6.2'. Should be OK, though your antenna will hit the door arch.

How tall is the opening with the door open? Is it a full 7'?

Ok children, both of you get a time out !

You asked a serious question, and got one smartass answer out of a few others. Better to just see the humor in it and pass by. Getting upset about it only buries the thread in DERP. You two catfight back and forth and the thread carries on in anonymity .

The opening may be 8' but the door doesn't go that high. My parking garage at work has 6'10 & 7'1 clearances and the antenna only hit on a few of the beams and it is higher than the cab by a few inches so guessing the cab was around 6'6 or 6'7 on the lifted 05.

Thanks thats the answer I was looking for . I can live with just modifing the antenna .

The door is about a inch under 7' actually. I just called it 7' to keep it simple.

Next I have to find a truck , I found some used ones I like, some modded some stock .... Seems the 2nd gens hold value just like any other yota truck. Im debating on just biting the bullet and buying a 2012 ....

You could figure out how much to trim off by using a measuring tape.

Mine fits but the antenna does hit the garage door coming in. Kind of annoying and thinking of getting a shorter antenna. Any how your truck should fit pretty easy.
