No clue about the specs. But someone posted it on facebook.

boosted gasoline > boosted diesel. There is a reason they don't make diesel sports cars. Also the front of that hilux just looks too goofy. It's too rounded. It really does have a European look to it.

You can get diesel Mercedes and BMWs in Europe. The US is about the only place you don't have a lot of small engine diesel options. For performance, the diesels are heavier but, with some tweaking, can be made to keep with their gasoline powered competitors.

OP, pretty much all diesel engines these days are boosted so that's nothing to write home to mom about. I know at least Ford manufactured a diesel that wasn't boosted and it was a complete dog. With the exception of tractors, the turbo is what makes the diesel.

if this is a diesel truck, then the skewp is necessary.

unlike the skewps on tacos, the Hilux's skewp is purely functional. On the stock hood, the skewp should be offset.

Toyota's Four-Cylinder Diesel engines (including the current gen 3.0L 1KD-FTV D4D) featured in the Hilux are turbocharged and intercooled. The engine utilizes a TOP MOUNT intercooler. This means the intercooler sits on top of the engine, with the skewp functioning to deliver fresh air to the air-to-air exchanger.

There has been too much violence. Too much pain. But I have an honorable compromise. Just walk away. Give me your pump, the oil, the gasoline, and the whole compound, and I'll spare your lives. Just walk away and we'll give you a safe passageway in the wastelands. Just walk away and there will be an end to the horror.
