Yeah that's a good direction to travel I44, prevailing wind. I get 20.5 tank after tank for daily commute. I traveled Joplin to Tusla and back with bikes and passengers and got 16.

I am on my 5th fill up and have been getting a little better mileage with each. My last tank was 18 mpg. Not great, but for a vehicle this capable not bad either.

My over all average since i got the truck (about 25 k miles) has been 18.9. Most tanks in the summer are around 20-21. Last tank was 21. Mostly highway with the cruise set at 65-70. I drive it easy, but i'm sure if i really tried i could do a little better.

I avg 18-21. I saw a 40-60 mile per tank improvement after adding a URD TCAI and an undercover be cover. Not sure which contributed the most as I added them at the same time. When my Yakima rack is on it kills it though.

I've been getting about 18 w/ 89 E10. So far I've ran one tank of E0 and got 20.3. And I made sure to drive it pretty hard. Part of the tank was a trip from Orlando to St. Pete and back doing about 75 on the highway. On my second tank of E0, so we'll see how it ends up. After that I'm going to switch back just to make sure I'm not imagining things.

Try confirming that with a GPS and your fuel reciepts. It is totally possible if you intentionally drive slow and watch the scangauge.

Took a road trip with the family to Jackson Hole, WY, yesterday. I'm supercharged and while I don't race it around, I drove it up the mountain passes without letting it slow down and occasionally running the RPM's over 3-4,000 RPM's when I felt the need. I went over Teton Pass @ 8,431 ft and 2 other passes that weren't quite as high, maintaining a good speed the entire way and going into boost to pass cars, etc. I ended up averaging 20.1 mpg's, confirmed by fuelly and my Scangauge. This is with 4 people, A.R.E MX shell, supercharged, URD pulley and stock sized Hankook Dynapro's, among other things. So far gas mileage is above expectation.

Got 20.4 mpg on my last fillup with 91 octane after finally getting to 825 miles on the odo and not babying it anymore.

Mixed among freeway, some stop-and-go, mountain driving on dirt roads and back roads, twisties up and down canyons, maybe 20 miles only of 4wdlo and hi, no towing.

Not much of a load also, just the Leer 180 shell and a Black Lab, maybe only about 300 lbs there.

I think about 24-25 is the max mpg for this thing, probably 16-22 will be typical.

I get between 19-21 regularly but after replacing the OEM Dunlops with Michelon MX2's the mileage stays closer to 19 even with 35 pounds of nitrogen.

They are much better tires but the sacrifice is about a half a mile average mileage.

Here are some screen shots of an app I use to log gas mileage and services. I consistently get between 21-22mpg. Averaging 22. I drive about 160 miles a day. I would say that I am on a highway just under 50% of the time and spend the rest in rural back roads.

I have a bone stock 2011 DCSB trd sport 4wd.
