DAMN MIKE! Is the sensor itself broken, or is it just the wiring harness? I have been looking for a cheaper option (part# ALS684 -or- ALS685) and the cheapest I've found so far is $170.

The Add-a-Leaf snapped in half. I think it was first noticeable when he was running through a forest service road full of potholes.

That sounds ugly, i'd eventually like to get rid of the block and leafs in the back in exchange for a custom leaf pack and billsteins 5100.

I think he was asking about the game (Crawl 4x4) :D
but you can't easily "re-quote" a quote, so it was a little misleading.

Yeah originally he thought the leaf had somehow slipped from the rest of the pack. It was sticking out at a bad angle. The we stuffed the opposite wheel to give it a bit of lift to loosen things and tapped on the leaf with a hammer and half of it just dropped out.

The first one came apart pretty easily. Once the sealant started to stretch it just needed constant pressure

6" FabTech suspension 3" body lift, 35x12.50R15 BFG AT T/A KO tires, Mickey Thompson Sidebiter wheels, 4:88 front and rear gears, e-locker, "grey wire mod," Hella driving lights retroed to 55w 8000K HIDs, custom grill, Downey chrome air intake w/ AEM filter, AirAid throttle body spacer, Flowmaster exhaust, Alpine audio w/ 12" RF sub, racing bucket seats, black powdercoated toolbox, smoked out black taillights, black headlamps and corners, red LED interior lights, sway bar removed, rear shock relocation, u-bolt flip mod, 01 center console, Relentless Fab front plate bumper, LED fog lights.
Hopefully bad metal, since my FabTech has been holding up for over 6 months. That's bull that it happened, tho, in the first place... the kit is supposed to make things stronger (which also adds about 300 lbs. to the truck)! I want to get rid of the add-a-leaf and block, but kinda on a tight budget right now. Any more issues with the 6" FabTech lift??

Good point - because he's got a 2nd gen. I'm not sure specifically which Fabtech part.

wire harness is fine, it's the little black part the enters into the hub... so the sensor itself, in other words.

Uggh, found out the $60 one is for the 4cyl.
Part I need is stock code 8954304020, index 895543. Best price I have is $183 now.
