Last night my check engine light illuminated & the scangauge had a code P2195 stored. I wasn't far from home so I just drove it there not knowing what any of this means, then came here to search. Only found one post mentioning it, so off to google & found a TSB EG059-05 NOV 05 Engine Controls - MIL ON/DTC's P0171/P0174/P2195/P2197.

Is it still ok to drive my truck before I bring it to the dealer?
Do I let the dealer know that was the code it threw or toss caution to the wind & say nothing/let them tell me?
Would the AFE ProDry drop-in cause this code?
Yesterday at start up it did a little funny but it was cold & attributed it to a high idle. Do not understand engine noises really anyway except metal on metal not good :p

Here is the TSB, it isn't in our library.
    FWIW my truck is a 06 4.0L 4WD w/29k &still under warranty thank god

    Thanks in advance.

The Air filter wont cause this issue. You should be fine driving it until you get it to the dealer.

That is what I was originally looking for. I could not find anything that Judy hasn't already. I tried to cross reference some part numbers but failed to locate any AFR's for the 1GR

Toyota fixed the issue on my 2006 4.0L by replacing an air/fuel sensor 89467-04060 ($206 list) per TSB.
I signed off on the warranty repair, it was $375 fwiw!
    Light be gone.
