    How'd making the stand go?

Yeahhhh buddy! So stroked and got such a good deal on them from ArcheryTalk!

After I ruin the CX Mayhem Hunters I'm planning on building my own arrows. I enjoy building and putting things together and I take pride in my work

This is exactly why I am going to do them!

Planning on shooting the G5 T3's as well. Ive only heard nothing but greatness from them!

Yeah it sounds like favoritism to me too! Just like how toyota is against all other brands of trucks haha

Again thanks for all the info on here buddy, you have helped me immensely!!!

I was reading through the archery regulations last night on broadheads. It states that a mechanical, when open, can be no longer then 7/8." does this mean the g5 t3's are illegal to hunt with? I just bought 6 of these and will be upset if this is the case..

Those are pretty sweet. I have been wanting to make a new one for my bow. I did make a lanyard for my rangefinder and my deer call.

Yeah I was reading regulations on Big Game Hunting under the archery sections. This is word for word what I read:

    (c) For the taking of big game, hunting arrows and crossbow bolts with a broad head type blade which will not pass through a hole seven-eighths inch in diameter shall be used. Mechanical/retractable broad heads shall be measured in the open position. For the taking of migratory game birds, resident small game, furbearers and nongame mammals and birds any arrow or crossbow bolt may be used except as prohibited by subsection (d) below.

    What do you think??

:) 7/8th is the minimum. Kudos for reading the regs.

ya. ahaha i had to re read that part a few times to get it. then it clicked. (if it cant pass through the "hole" then it SHALL be used, meaning its bigger then 7/8ths) what they should say is

"the cutting diameter of a mechanical broadhead shall be no smaller then 7/8ths of n inch in the open postion"

    t3's are 1.5" i believe. your good.

def put on the practice blades on two of your arrows, and member to NOT use the spyder clip when doing it. but you will see that they shoot just like the feild points.

HAHA yeah well a lot of good reading the reg's did. Apparently I need to read a little harder :D

I guess I shouldve re-read a few times. Made absolutely no since to me have a max cutting diameter of 7/8" would think they would want a little bigger to help minimize animal suffering.

    UPDATE:

Bow is arriving today at the shop, should get it tonight or tomorrow morning! :)

Ordered two bitzenburger Jigs. One is Straight and the other is Right Helical.

Ordered my pops some VAP-300's for him too :)

Ordering a G5 ASD on friday as well as some Ferr-L-Lite Cool Flex Hot Melt for building some arrows :)

Also have 6 G5 T3's that I will be ordering that have practice blades and replacements blades!

So Stoked on everything and I will post pictures as soon as I get my bow!

To the man who suggested ArcheryTalk.com to me, thank you for helping me spend my last 2 paychecks there! hahaha that website is great!

Hahaha well put! Learning a lot from that site and also spending a lot of money. I think more towards bow equipment then truck lately, which is a change! lol

Going to be making this and use a dremel as the saw. I will post pictures once I get it made :D
