Thanks for the heads up guys! I contacted my uncle who is a ex-LEO in Cali and he said its better off to just bring a knife and leave the guns at home since (in his words) "Cali is a worthless state ran but a bunch of pansy fuck-tards".

So guess I'll be leaving it at home.
And thanks for the note on the 10 rounds. I didn't know about that and most of my guns are 14+ rounds.

Nah doesn't make anyone feel better when you are at home and we are work. :D

But if you want something to do, you can come pick up my truck and wash it for me. She's a dirty girl, dirty girl.

I'd rather be at work. At least its so cold in there I need my jacket and I'm getting paid to be bored when everything is running smooth.

Shit mines dirty too but i couldn't dry it fast enough if I were to wash it. I'm actually by your office I think. You work on ray and the 101 right?

    Yup that's where I work.

Big Lots has a 10x10 quick canopy tent thing so I can wash my truck in some shade.. It goes on sale for 59$ tomorrow. I'm sending the wife to pick one up, should come in handy and it looks like its decent quality.

Was it the plastic white one? We got one from walmart a few years ago and it was a white plastic, didn't last more than a summer before it was toast. This one looks a bit better but I haven't seen it in person yet.

I just know it will come in handy when we go shooting as well. Shade is a MUST in this god forsaken state.

The one I got the legs were aluminium but I could bend them with a well placed fart. It had a white top that was almost like a vinyl/plastic vs cloth. The price was right but it just didn't hold up very well.. If I remember correctly I bent a leg just trying to set it up.

I dont think it will last long but I have gone through a lot of these. None of them last in the dunes so I might as well buy a cheap one

Well once I get the one tomorrow I'll let you know how it looks. I'd like to own one of these longer than 3 months before it's trashed.
