Debadged, tinted windows, 7 pin relocated, bed lights, 12 volt socket in bed of truck, on board air, auxiliary fuse box, grill craft, hella 500's, t-rex eyelids, pink budbuilt skids, icon remote resi coil over, camburg uca, alcan rear springs, ubolt flip, icon 2.5 remote rear resi shocks
Not sure what springs you got but for 63's you are gonna need spring hangers and shackle mounts. Shock relocation is really needed to for full flex. Gonna need blocks and 6-8" shackles depending on desired lift. Taco springs just need spring hangers, can use stock shackle mounts. Could probably use the shocks you have for now but you'll want to do the same shock remount as you would with the 63's. 5" shackle should do the trick.
For the front it's a whole nother can of worms. If you are putting rears up front you'll need spring hanger, IFS steering box and a mount, high steer kit, shock mounts, shocks and a driveshaft.

I think I have the plan for now but not sure if I can execute it in time. I am in need of a welder and someone to weld. I don't trust my welds at all. Plus I need to order the parts quick to get them in time to install.

For the rear the plan is to use my old 07 Tacoma rear leafs. Starting with just the two long ones and will add leafs as needed. The stock rear is 48" long (20.5/27.5) and the 07 Tacoma rear is 55.5 (27.375/28.5). I will cut off the old spring hanger to the front and weld on new ones ~6 7/8" forward. I will leave the rear ones stock.
The truck already has 6.25" long shackles eye-to-eye on the rear of the rear spring. Currently these are sitting nearly straight up and down so the added 1" to the rear will help put them at a better angle. The current setup is roughly a 6" lift from stock and I hope to reduce the height slightly to somewhere around 5" lift from stock.
Current shocks and locations will remain the same.
*Future plans: U-bold flips, center mount shock bar, weld on shock mounts to axle and get the correct length shocks.
I chose not to do the Chevy 63 route because I already have longer springs that are free of charge. A guy I met out wheeling that owns a small one man off-road fab company told me the best route to go is Ford F150 springs that are I believe 57" long. My 07 Tacoma springs aren't far off from this length.

Stock front is 45" long (22.5/22.5). Rear up font is 48" long (20.5/27.5). I am going to keep the stock front hanger for now (will weld on beefier ones later). The truck already has 6.5" long shackles eye-to-eye on the rear of the front spring. I will keep this location as well. Currently the shackles are sitting nearly straight up and down so the added length will will help put them at a better angle as well as move the axle forward 2". My only worry here would be that the added 5" to the rear will sit the shackle down to the point of hitting the frame. That's when the front hanger would definitely be needed. Again the current setup is roughly a 6" lift from stock and I hope to reduce the height slightly to somewhere around 5" lift from stock.
The truck already has high steer kit. The truck is an 84 with solid front axle already so steering box should be ok. A flat pitman arm would be nice.
Probably need a longer driveshaft. I was hoping that lowering the truck a touch would give me enough to keep the stock one. If one is definitely needed then I will have to wait on all of this till later.
Installing some u-bold flips to the front. Current shocks and locations will remain the same.
*Future plans: Shock hoops, correct length shocks, front hanger, flat pitman, drive shaft.

If you want another set to play with I have my 07 springs as well with the 1.5" AAL in them. I keep meaning to take them to recycle but if you want them you can have.

If you don't want them then yea, I might take them. From what I have read, people are cutting down leafs and making them 4-6 packs for the front.

If he doesn't take them I may throw them on my truck. I just have the TSB in the rear. So they'd give me 1.5? ... anyway. I'll be next in line.

What do you have up front? I liked the stance of your truck. I was thinking 5100's but just did a measurement and in the rear I'm 22.5" from the center of the wheel cap to the fender and I have 19.75" in the front so I don't think a 1.75 w/5100's will get it done. I do have the TSB done so that could be to blame for the difference. My front looks really low now.

I have 5100's @.85 with eibach coils. It sits pretty much level but I am going to do either top plate spacers or new coils and drop the 5100s to 0" I still get rub even with trimming though.

Those are the Eibachs with a 1.6" lift, right? So like 2.45" or so total lift up front? Stock rear then other than the TSB 4-leaf?

Go for it, they are yours. I was just going to play with pulling leafs apart to build my fronts and rears on the crawler. I could use the ones you pull off if you aren't going to use them. Another thought is that the leafs I pulled apart have a thick add on leaf for lift. That one combined with the block made it a 6" lift. I think the block was only 3" tall so the other 3 came from that leaf.

Yeah, but I don't think I am at any more than 2" Even before the bumper and skid it was about the same. I measured and Mike "toytec ULK" had about another inch and he was at 2.75

Eric... I guess I'll take 'em. PM me your address and I could probably pick them up tomorrow.

I'm not sure how soon I will get them on but I would be happy to give you the old ones.

Does anyone think it would be a bad idea to to top plates? I have researched and it seems to be a go with my current set up and should be the same as what toytech offers with their 3" lift with eibachs.

I guess we should move this over to the BS thread....

I wasn't going to do a lift then I saw trucks like your plus had the TSB done and now my truck looks like it's a hybrid 4x4 (rear) and low rider (front) so I think I want to do something about it now. Considering just ordering up a front set of 5100's and seeing if I can run it up to 2.5" w/o running into UCA clearance issues. If I do I would either go back to 1.75" and deal with it being 3/4" lower or order up some Eibachs and go to 0.85" on the 5100's.
