My Samsung charge would last half a day if I left mobile data on...

Do you guys leave mobile data turned on all day?

I leave everything on. GPS, Data, 4G, etc. Screen is set to auto brightness, and I have roaming, and all animations turned on. When on the web, I never view mobil sites. All are the regular sites.

No, actual aluminum foil. Some on your head, some on your laptop. The phone should be OK, ICS is hardened against EMPs.

I hear that Jack Bauer is doing beta testing on the Maxx w/ ICS. He has stopped 32 terrorists and tortured 19 people with it. He has not managed to kill the battery yet either.

given the increadibly thiz "Razor" sharp edges, I can see how he has been able to kill with the phone. I myself, shave with it.

So you're saying that the extra hundred for the Maxx is worth it? What is the ICS? Should I get it? What data plan do you recommend?

Yeah, the extra 100 is worth the larger battery. ICS is the newest operating system, and it will be comming to all RAZR's this week. I have the unlimited data, but not sure if they offer that anymore.

The lady today told me that they would be offering 10GB for $100/Month.

So I'm assuming I'll be fine with 2GB's.

Just an FYI, if you upgrade after the 28th you loose your unlimited data and will be put on the new plan. Also there is a new razr HD coming out soon.

I have the RAZR, and just updated it to ICS. I found the download and instruction on the web that worked perfectly! Took about half an hour. One thing I like about the RAZR is the smartapps. I have one for work and one for home that connects to the Wi-Fi, and disables the cellular data. Saves on data and battery. I did not mind Android 2.3.6, ICS looks pretty cool so far..
