On a Florida to Nebraska trip I averaged 20.5 mpg when running 70 and under. On runs that averaged over 70 I dropped to 18.5 mpg

    I wish.

Unfortunately, I drive way too many "city miles" (which, around here in DC can simply mean idling in still traffic) to get anywhere close to 20 mpg normally. I'm definitely on the lower end of the EPA estimated fuel consumption for this vehicle. Going back to my 2005 Tacoma, I normally average anywhere from 15 to17 mpg. On any given week in the summer with the a/c going full blast, it's not abnormal for me to hit 14 mpg for a tank. It also doesn't help that ALL gas sold here is 10% ethanol.

Sure, if I take a trip and hit the highway, my mileage improves accordingly, but 20 mpg on normal basis is a fantasy for me.

It's called Car Minder. Great app, not that I've tried any others so I can't compare it. I use it for the gas log and services. Great for the services. You can set up custom services an intervals with reminders based on mileage and or dates that keep track of the mileage based on input from the fuel log. I do all my own maintenance so it really helps to keep me on track. Here's a screen shot of part of my service page. You can add as many services types as you want

I recently went on a trip down to Utah, the best I could get was 9.8L/100Km or 24Mpg I averaged about 12-13L/100Km or 18-19Mpg for most of the trip but that was at about 75+Mph and some back country stuff. I'll average about 16mpg in the city which is where I do most of my driving. I haven't done any long highway trips here in Canada where the speed limit is only 60 or 70mph depending on the province but I hope to get 20+mpg.
    I have a 4.0 DCLB

I couldnt find that on Android. I've been using fuellog for about a year now. Works great. I just wish there was a countdown like car minder.

I've been getting nearly 20mpg around town. That's dropped a bit, but so far so good. I've been seeing around 25mpg on the highway.

None yet, but its about to get rolling.
I'm averaging 22.5 but I have a 25 mile commute to work on secondary roads between 45 and 55 MPH. I figure it will be worse on the interstate

I have a 4x4 Access cab automatic with a tonneau cover and I consistantly get 20 mpg on average.

5100 miles and just hit my best tank since new 22.7 mpg.

Pretty damn good for a 4x4 if I do say so myself.

I was seeing around 19mpg when it was new off the lot. I have been running AC wide open for the last month and not really paying attention to getting the best possible fuel mileage.

I dont really care much as I commute heavily on my motorcycle 8000+ miles per year at 54mpg average but its good to see I can actually meet and exceed the window sticker mpg figures.

I just got my best take yet, and it was while I was towing. As near as I can figure,it has to be that my driving habits change. Nothing else makes sense as I can't imagine that the way to get better mileage is to constantly tow 3 000 lbs.

I've been now driving 6 months to a different work location, mainly highway driving. Averaging 21 mpg. Fuel up nearly always at 380-390 on the odometer, typically around 18 gallons at that point.:D

When I have long drives with little to no traffic I get reliably over 20 mpg, but my daily commute involves 20 miles of bumper to bumper traffic, so my average is no where near 20 mpg lol
