This is the setup on Old Man Emu's website that comes to about $297 for springs and shocks... right? That I could live with but I much prefer $170ish and when I look at that website there's all sorts of options and things I'm not sure if I need or not. Lastly, what type of bushings does OME use for theirs? I know that the 5100's use OEM bushings which I prefer. Not a deal breaker but something to add to the pro/con list as I make up my mind.

Link? That price seems a bit cheap.

If you are not going to off road it much bushings will hardly wear out regardless but if I recall Bob's are rubber like factory.

This is what I found after someone else suggested I get suspension from Old Man Emu. When I go to the 2005+ Tacoma the front shock/strut is $147 per pair and the front springs (medium or HD... I'm told medium would be correct for my application) is $150 making the total $297 for that. Sounds like those also add some lift and I wouldn't have to go as high on my shock/strut.

I think I saw that Downsouth has the 5100's for $172 for the front pair and I think there may even be a TW.com discount on top of that but not 100% sure. I like the price here the best and assume that the shock/strut would be better than my factory one so I would assume that as long as I don't have clearance issues with my UCA's that this would still be a bit of an upgrade in ride from factory both on and offroad even with stock springs.

Slee's package is what I got. They put in new bushings but I believe they're factory

Damn I keep forgetting you are only lifting the front. Are you fine with the factory Billy shocks in back or are you going to upgrade those as well? Either way I will have some used 5100's for your rear you can pick up real cheap if you want. Like $20 cheap for the pair. They are for 0 to 1" of lift (which should fit you for the TSB). But if you are going OME and want to keep a matching set of shocks all around I would get OME's shocks for the rear as well.

rear suspension TSB, sockmonkey bed decals, weathertech floor liners, TRD seat covers, tailgate pop n lock, rear diff breather relocation, center console lock, Viper Alarm, extra D-rings in bed, 5100's on all 4 corners
factory springs and nothing more than the TSB in the rear. The ride is fine. It might be a little stiffer than before, but i honestly don't remember. Granted it isn't like driving a Cadillac. It's a truck. But that was 30k miles ago when i made the switch.

    What's a Slee?

For right now I'm only focusing on the front to level things out. If you're selling some rear 5100's for $20 I might be interested though. How many miles you got on them? I was planning on just keeping my TRD Bilsteins in the rear but if I can gets yours for $20 having matching at all 4 corners would be nice. I like that AvsFanTRD had great luck basically doing exactly what I was hoping to do and that's just swap in a pair of 5100's in the front set to 2.5" to level things out. I honestly feel like this setup, assuming I have no clearance issues, will be the best for my needs. I don't know that I will ever do any serious offroading and that's why I said I just want to keep the factory off roading capability just in case but I doubt I will ever really utilize it. I just don't want to take a step back in usability for in exchange for looks.

That's what I like to hear. Posts like this give me hope that a fix for my low rider front end is $170, an afternoon of work & an alignment away. Do you have some pics from the side of your truck?
