"Those were just the early packages, the SX was the sprotier package. Going from memory it came with bucket seats w/ center console instead of 60/40 split, 31x10.5 tires, 15x7 alloy rims, gas filled or some other slightly different shocks and every one I have seen had some decal on the side. I want to say all the SX were regular cab but I am not sure on that, I had an extra cab 97 LX. You could even get the 3.4 V6 in the early regualr cabs, which would be fairly desirable as 97 was the last year the 6 was in reg. cabs."

 

There's only one in the world and David Coker (Rocket Wheels) owns it. It was built by Aaron Kaufman from Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas, TX. All of our bits were tingly, especially when sitting on it. Has one car brake in the rear, Air Ride, two chains (gear/engine), etc. Thing is sick!

The Shepard looks pretty happy to have a new pal. Wasn't trying to piss you off.

 

I wasn't, no worries. But she is really happy to have a new friend. Had to put down our other dog a few months ago. This boxer has way too much energy though.

 

My 97 reg cab is an SX, thankfully no decals down the side. But no V6 either. :-(

 

cleaned her up today. got 38mpg today on fillup. fillup took $22 and in the background...the weekend warrior
