    The braille is probably because its cheaper to produce the same keys for all ATM's rather than two separate types of keys (braille and non-braille).

    1.) Because.

    2.) Boats for moving cargo have been around since before the first dynasty of Egypt. Cars have been around since the 19th century. Also, if you mail something from the UK to the US, it's still a shipment even though it may be loaded on a boat and become part of it's cargo.

    3.) The user of the ATM might be in the rear driver's side seat on a four door car.
