    Hey guys. That insurance thing is pretty crazy. Not trying to change topic but here's what I'm up to today, I keep getting this little black smudge on my driver side window on the inside. I've cleaned it off before and it came back in a week. (I like to ride with my windows down) so I'm going to take my panel off and try to fix if not just trace whats causing this. Is there anything I should know before ripping away my door panel for my safety or preserving the door panel or wiring or anything?

    Ok apparently the guys that installed my speakers ripped open this clear plastic that's glued under the door panel. When they got done they didn't put the plastic back and the black glue stuff is rubbing off on my window when I let it down I guess for extended periods of time in the heat. :notsure:

    Yeah I'm pissed. They broke several of the clips that help hold the panel on too:mad: its been over a year though I doubt they will do anything about it.

    It does. I removed all of the plastic and the black shit that it was stuck on the door with and replaced it with sound damping material. Had I just been doing speakers and nothing else, I wouldn't have removed the plastic lining.

    Nope, they would probably tell you it wasn't their fault the day after. This is why I do my own work, I know exactly how everything goes back together and it gets done correctly.
