    Anyone else in here been screwed by the system for a "preexisting" condition? Mine was a random case of some dumbass doctor writing down possible lung polyps with a mild case of not informing the patient that you wrote that nor testing this theory for the month he was in the hospital. Been three years since I have even thought about getting healthcare. Who else has some bullshit story about why they cant get healthcare?:cool:

    Yeah I talked to a chick from alberta couple weeks ago who bought her second vacation home here. Came down for a vacation/MRI trip since she couldn get in as soon as she wanted up there. Paid like 1400 bucks and got her shit done, then went back to alberta and got her insurance to comp the fee's..... pretty legit system you guys have up there. Do they do pre-existing conditions in the land of the canook?

    Dont work that way on a blue collar, finishing up my degree, kind of income.

    yeah I had that and then that job went away. But paying on my own it was only going to be like 130 a month which was under what I was paying in taxes a month. Just sucked when I found out I was denied but had no idea that I was getting denied 6 months after I left the hospital.....:(

    Under HIPAA you have the right to copies of your records, as well as the right to challenge what's in them.

    In your case, I'd argue that without a CT scan showing polyps ... there's no proof. Then ask to have it removed from your record.
