Thanks. It is growing on me. Just need a few heads to turn to sell me on it. Like the fact that I have not seen one on the roads yet. I like to have something different.

Yep, my clear coat sucked. I have pulled it off and am re-painting and buffing. Gonna try and match the gloss better... will probably screw it up.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with Zach and say just take your time if you are re-doing it. If you're anything like me (and most other do-it-yourselfers) you're your worst critic. Most other people are going to tell you it looks awesome, and mean it.

When you cut out the center piece for the grill, did you fill in the gaps with fiberglass or what? Did you paint the black plastic inner lip of the grill to match the truck? Looks like maybe but kinda hard to tell.

I will be washing mine. I neglected it last weekend and now it's just... gross. When it cools off a bit I plan on doing a clay and polish or wax. Anybody have brand recommendations for the clay or wax? Wax vs. polish (like Nu Finish)?

I claybarred mine 2 weeks ago and it was slick as a babies bottom... I used the Meguiar's kit that I picked up from Walmart for like $18... And as far as wax, I'm a fan of zymol!

Thanks, that's the clay I'll go with then. I saw the Meguiar's and another (maybe Mother's?) at Walmart for close to the same price. They looked to be almost identical, but since I have your feedback on the Meguiar's that's all I need.

Nobody have any experience with Nu Finish polish? I've read a couple reviews and none of them seem to agree with eachother.

I gotta wait for this heat to die down man. It's almost 100 degrees at 10:30 in the morning. This is ridiculous.
