my new bestop got it from craigslist along with new floormats and a bed mat(pics for those later when i remember)

 

how do you paint the ring?

 

If you take the door panel off then you can pop the plastic welds that hold the ring in then you can take the ring out. the pop the black plastic in the center out.

once I had the ring by itself I sanded it down a little then put a couple of coats of spray paint on it

 

got this for christmas also got some weather techs ill post pictures later

Nice looking truck. But what type of material did you use to cover your arm rests and where did you get it?

 

I just had an old underarmor shirt laying around and I used patches out of it, but I would recommend going and getting something a little thicker cause this stuff doesnt like to stay

 

Any suggestions on what type of material to use? Besides leather

 

yeah find some neoprene like wetokoles are made of and use that

 

Any idea how much fabric I would need to cover 4 arm rests? (e.x. 24"x50")

 

you going to need exactly how much fabric covers one armrest, times 4. I have no idea how much you will need i just had an old t shirt laying around and i used that

 

got new retrofits

also have an entirely new cb/pa set up that maybe one day ill remember to take pictures of
