orly? That's a bummer because I have one showing up tomorrow that I ordered a week or so ago. Someone posted that they fit perfectly so I thought it would be a good mod for the money plus I needed to add something to get my order over $25 for free shipping so this worked out pretty well. Hopefully I can make it fit.

I did the same thing to get the free shipping deal. The one I purchased did not fit at all. Maybe I need to try again.

I have a 2005 Access Cab Tacoma. I wonder if the center console is different for latter years?

I think they're the same but I don't know for sure. I seem to recall him saying it fit tight but I'm not really sure of that either. I figured I could do some trimming if need be. I bought one of the OEM nets too and while it was more expensive this negates the need for that and does more so I'll probably need to sell that now too assuming the caddy fits.

Just finished installing it. (hypertech speedo calibrator) Just took the truck out on the hwy and gps'd it with my cellphone. It seems bang on at 100km/hr and at 110km/hr. If i'm cruising at 110km/hr my rpms are sitting right around 2800! Don't think i'll be going much faster than that now.. :(

Already have taller tires (33's) but planning on stepping up to a 34/35" tire soon. Plus i've regeared to 4.56's...

yup 4.56's on an auto in the second gens are just too short.... its why ive been considering getting marlin crawler involved 4.30's is pretty much perfect for 35's

im sure you love the power, but at 20% more in fuel costs for ANY highway travel just IMO doesnt offset the benefits, especially since most my trails are 2+ hours away

I ordered one, it barely fit in my 07, I broke a corner getting it in. Good luck trying to get it out tho. I had to remove my center console to do some CB work and I had to remove the bar caddy to get to the bolts. I ended up taking a hammer and shattering it to remove it. So it will go in fine but won't come out.

I agree, 4.56's isn't the best gearing for hwy driving. I don't do much of it everyday and soon i'll be running my gf's honda civic down the superslab instead of the truck so i really won't have to worry about it.

I love the extra power and the manual trans does help out a bit but yes the gears are definitely a bit short. I'm sure once i step up in tire size again that should even out some...

Yep, I just tried and cracked the bottom corner and busted a part of the top right off when I tried putting it in. Once you clear the overhang on the top edge of the console (driver's side) it fits. I don't know how I am going to get it out without breaking it further though :(

I agree! Love my Brute Force! Fucking bitch slammed on her brakes in front of me to cause an accident, lied to the cop (said something was in the road, but I could see over and around her to know nothing was there), and the only thing I need to do is paint a quarter size spot where the paint came off. She, however, has a hole in her bumper now from the shackle mount.

I got my BAMF skids back from being powder coated. Will be installing and doing the diff breather and oil filter drain mods tomorrow. If the wife and baby allow it ;)

Her. -_- I got a "following too close" ticket. Even though the intersection is up a hill so obviously I have to push the gas harder to get going, and she was stopped 20 ft from the turn.
