Hi...I have a 96 Tacoma 4x4 (2.7L) and the center bearing in the cardon joint failed. Toyota wants $1900 total to replace. Yep. Nough Said on that. Pulled the drive shaft off and running in 4WD until I find a replacement...only used to go and back to work. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement drive shaft? Or, I have heard that a 4Runner drive shaft (do not know the year) can replace it but it does not have the double cardon joint. Is this true? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
