This morning on my way home. I was curious at how many miles I was up to (it was on the trip meter). I knew I was approaching 100,000. I flipped it to the odometer & it showed 99,999. So I watched it roll to the 100,000 mark. These are great trucks! My truck drives the same as it did when it was new. Still has the torque & power as it had then. I haven't noticed any changes of power loss. Thank you Toyota for building such a great truck!:)

I remember, when I was a kid (probably 10 years old) my dad had a Celica. Early 80s model I would guess. One day, he was taking me to my grandma's house so she could watch me while he was working. On our way, we drove passed her street just so we could both watch the odometer turn over to 100,000 miles!

To this day, I remember that every time I turn 10,000 miles. My ex-wife never understood it either...

    Toyota is awesome!

sweet, glad to hear these tacos can be used for hundreds of thousands of miles. i'll probably keep mine that long unless i get a new one when the 3rd gen comes. im up to almost 21K now i think and thats a year and a half worth..... got a ways to go.
i got in my truck about a week ago to head down to wally world and saw that my odo had exactly 20,500 on it in the parking lot. thought that was kind of a cool coincidence to park it with exactly that. GF didnt. lol

Still a damn good truck. I'm at 115,000 miles. And no problems.

I recently changed my coolant. Costs $23 for a gallon of coolant from Toyota. But you have to use the pink coolant only. Do not put any other type in the truck. It is worth the money.

I was going to change me rear diff fluid. But I couldn't get the fill bolt off. So I'm going to have to have a shop change it.

I was wondering about this - any reason?

Dang and I thought I drove a lot. I've only got 83000 on my 05. Definitely agree though with the whole "drives like new" thing. I've got about 3000 miles worth of towing my travel trailer on the truck as well and it's still just as strong as it was when I first started towing.

    Rain Visors,
I'm at 42K on my 06 but i've only had it a week. My 97 dodge 12V diesel had 168K on it and the engine ran amazing ( the rebuild mark is 400K on them), but the steering, suspension, tolerences for the body, and brakes and everything else was pretty much dead. so i plan on keeping my new used taco...for at least another 100K.....and even if i dont want to my wife will make me anyway

My Taco just hit 140,000 yesterday. It is still running like it was new. The Silverado my dad had hit 100,000 and everything went bad. Toyota is the best!
