I also just sent Timsxr (BDF) a PM about the mounts taco721 was talking about, just to see if anything ever came of it. But now that you mention that, i could mount them on my bar until you can make me some mounts like that if they work well there.

yea you're prob right, for 100, i'd rather do that keyless mod that the other member was sellin, but it would be nice to have keyfob and key combined. Just wondering if it was compatible, because I would imagine 4runner set up just like ours

anyone think this is a good deal? also what all would i need to hook it up to a aftermarket head unit? i don’t have a head unit yet. looking at a few. i have an ’07.

Think what is a good deal? You never posted a link. But getting the stuff to install a head unit is super easy, wire harness and fit kit, DONE. You can pick those up on line or at Best Buy. Pretty cheap usually.
