This is Ymir Peak (7,800 feet). It sits right above out Ski Resort. Ive hiked to the top of the peak from the top of the chair lift. I didnt go down the face of it cause it looked like it was a straight wall down  We took a line down the left side (skiers right) into the bowl and back to the lodge.

Heres another angle of the peak. You can also see the skihill and the runs on the left side.

BC is where it's at for sure. Colorado crowds can get annoying and it's nice to split and get away to some open terrain.

Usually buy two passes but thinking this year of just saving $ and find some bc riders and explore more.

We started last season with five days in a row with 20+ inces of fresh powder each day. The skiing was the biggest reason my family moved up here to Alaska. Where in Tennessee is the ski resort? I didnt even know you guys got any snow

it’s in gatlinburg TN. (east TN) close/in the smoky mountains.

TN is kinda layout like this. west is pretty flat. get to Nashville and you get to the plateau and pretty much just rolling hills to knoxville. east of knoxville you start to get to the valleys and mountains. than you hit NC.

don't get me wrong, Colorado has some amazing terrain and great snow, but 350" avg compared to 900" avg is not even a fair game

I've been there! Don't get me wrong, Alaska is pretty damn amazing but it's a lot of fun for me visiting other resorts across the country. And I bet 350" of the snow you get down in the states is just as fun as the 900" we get up here. A lot of our snow falls when it's 31 degrees and turns to cement half way down the mountain.

EDIT: and it's a pretty small resort too. Very aggressive and steep but fairly small.
