Help on next mod?

Hey everyone, looking for a bit of direction as to what my next mod should be.
'06 Sport
Stock coils with 5100's at 2.5"
Stock leafs with tsb and 1-1/2" block
CBI Moab front bumper
Wildcat EXT 265/70/17(last season for them)

This truck is my daily driver but also get out on the trails once a week, Im looking for the next modification for trail use. I have been back and forth on a few different things and wanted some input.

Replace stock coils with OME 885's and top plate spacer?
Replace rear block with 1-1/2" AAL?
Superwinch 8500?
ARB On board air system?
ARB air locker?
285/70/17 MT's?
Trail gear rock sliders?
Rear armour with tire carrier?

The locker and mt's would require a bit more saving.

Any other suggestions I may have forgotten.

With what you have listed i would replace the blocks in the back, then get a winch and sliders

edit: also i would get the 885x before the winch

 

I would go with sliders or armour underneath. Truck looks good.

 

Thats what I have been leaning towards, I know that the stock coils are going to sag even more with the weight of the winch and cable. No here is another question, is a single inch and half aal going to revive my tired leafs or would be it be advisable to just replace the entire leaf pack.

I havent even thought about armour for the underside, good call and thanks Banff

 

A new AAL is a temp fix for worn out leafs, i would just replace it with a new leaf pack either dakar or allpro expo

JUMP ON THOSE DEAVERS, thats a great deal just check the part number that he listed. Deavers have great reviews all over tw.

Edit: checked the numbers he listed 1645j66 and they are for 2005-2011 tacomas

Its funny Ive been visiting this site for quite a while now and have never run across deavers before, mind you I havent really considered upgrading the rear. My main concern when I first got the truck was getting the first half of the craptastic revtek leveling kit out.

 

Haha yeah i hear ya, Alot of LT guys have deaver packs they make some crazy leaf packs for SUA

 

Well I really hope the seller still has these, now another question then, if that is such a good deal then I should consider upgrading the shocks. As far as I can tell they are some kind of rancho, or at least thats my guess, they were white with a red boot, getting pretty rusty though.

You'll probably need new shocks to get the most out of your leafs, if your shocks now arent extended shocks then they will limit the amount of travel you will get..

 

Would a billy be long enough, I cant really seem to find out how much lift these are going to give

 

Get the extended billy 5100 or even better would be the 5125's or 5150's

 

Ok thanks, so Im assuming that I am go to have some rake in the rear then? They have ~4000kms on them, so I am thinking that they would have settled by now.

 

Yeah they should be settled by now, i dont know for sure but you will probably have a slight rake, but when you replace your front coils and get the top plate spacer it should be really close to level.

 

So what length of 5125 should I look into, there seems to be a range of sizes?

 

That i dont know off the top of my head pm this guy wolfpack_5150 he knows more about the 5125's then i do
