I found a HUGE 8 thats been on camera the last few weeks. Ive personally seen him 2 times, same time each day...I think I shook the remaining leaves off the tree I was in I was so nervous. Im gonna lay the smack down this weekend on this deer. Hopefully pics to follow.

I bow hunt from September to mid February here in NJ. So far 2 doe, but the freezer is getting empty. Been chasing a monster 8pt in the low 140's. My third season trying to thwack him. Been working days and nights and it's put a hurtin on my season this year. I'll be out this weekend for a big doe.

I went up to the farm the other day and and pulled the SD card out of my trail camera and found a beautiful five point! He was missin a side. Cant wait for deer season to start. We've got 14 acres of soy beans planted and a nice bottom between beans and the swamp. Can't wait to sit there openin mornin. Anyone else ready? I've been thinkin about deer season since the day it went out!

Pretty good. 3,000 acres of farm land and woods that hasn't been hunted in 10 years or more. I only scouted it last year but my great uncle that lived on the property and didn't want anybody to hunt it died so I'll be hunting it this season.

Good drive for you. In the summer I usually live on that farm, not this year though, so I just get up sit in the stand, then get on the tractor. During deer season I'm back home and it isn't but an hour and a half's drive.
I have friends with hunting land in the Charleston area.

The way you have to look at Washington state is fishing the salt water in the summer for salmon then bear season starts Aug. deer in October plus salmon fishing the rivers, November elk then ducks into Jan. steelhead and then onto predators.
