Strange clunk noise from front suspension

Ok so im getting some strange clunking noises coming from the front end of the truck. It happens when steering, hitting bumps, turning into an elevated driveway or roadway, and when braking. Sounds like its coming from the front left of the truck.

I can't figure out what it is.. Anyone have any ideas?

 

are you cranked to the full height?

 

I got it too but only when conditions are wet. started right when i put the uca's on

I actually have the coils cranked quite low.

 

I dont have CV's cuz im a pre runner so it cant be that. And the noise definatley isnt coming from the UCA's Chris4x4 installed and greased them himself. The noise is coming from lower then the UCA's I can feel the clunking on my feet as well as hear it.

 

have you checked every bolt you took out to do your lift is re-torqued good

 

I have 4x4 but your describing my problem exactly, I'm thinking lower ball joints or wheel bearings. How many miles are on your truck?

I too have that clunk and have now clue what it could be i had my c/o's at 2.5"+ and cranked them down but i only feel theclunk after bumps

35k miles on truck. Everything was fine until an alignment that I got then it started clunking. I think the caster is still off. Could that be it?

 

well its funny you say something about the alignment because that noise originated with the correction of alignment/new uca's paired with the lift. I didnt have the noise when I had the stock uca's and lift/bad alignment????

 

Believe me you can feel the clunk with your feet just have no clue what it is.

 

Battery mount?? ok.. The caster off according to the alignment specs. Could that be a reason Chris? Ill post up the alignment specs when I have a free moment here at work.
