After doing some reading on this board. I went with the Hankook ATM's 265/70/17. I wanted to make sure that my choice was going to fill the wheel wells and not look disproportionate. and with some solid advice from Pugga. I got a little more lift without any cutting. The 5100's are set at 1.75" which brought the front end up perfectly. And I had the rear TSB done about a year ago.

    .
Awesome possum, changed the oil, changed both diffs and the TC, finally installed the new thermostat (didn't know there was a CEL for LOW engine temp), took out the KC's and dropped in two modded Hellas, the dealership guys said the stock alternator with the tow package pushes 130 amps, he suggested an upgrade.

It's a guy out if Vancouver, one man show. He works full time and and does the fab stuff on the side. The company name is Northwest trail innovations.

Here's a link the aux jack mod. For anyone on the fence about it, it super easy. This was my first time soldering and it was a breeze.

    thanks for the reply.

I have the 16" steelies, that I'm gonna keep. But I am going to get new tires this fall. I do want to upgrade to the 265 size from the 245 Dunlap's.

I'm on the fence as to the 5100 front settings. either .85 or 1.75. I only want to reset the factory stance since having the rear TSB springs installed. so I'll probably go with .85

What are your measurements? I just had the TSB done a couple of months ago and my rear is 22.5" from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender & my front is 19.75" for a difference of 2.75" rake. My 5100's are on the way and I'm going to set them at 2.5" and pray that my stock UCA's clear the stock springs because I've read that at that setting some are alright and some aren't. Hoping I'm alright because that would put me pretty darn close to level and even if the rear settles another 1/4" or so it would still sit pretty level. If it doesn't clear I will have to drop them to 1.75" and save up for some UCA's or something. Just curious what your measurements are post-TSB that you're considering 0.85" or 1.75" to level out.

It's funny to me that you took the time to do it right & tape everything off. I just blasted away on mine. It looks like you used a gloss & if that's the case you'll probably hate how it looks. I ran out of flat black spray paint so I used gloss & it drive me nuts. Had to hit it all with flat black as soon as I could get some.

Maybe. I'd rather have had the matte spray but I had the gloss on hand. No matter what though, the gloss won't bother me as much as the grungy grey rust.

Spent most of the weekend installing Doug Thorley Long Tube headers, sucks on the 2012, much easier on the 2006 I had. The air injection tubes make it a tighter fit to wiggle through and the upper exhaust studs had to be replaced with shorter ones.

rear of truck raised about an inch and a quarter/inch a half after the TSB.

that was in Sept 2010. after some usage, it has settled to approx one inch.

I don't off-road my truck so I'm only looking to give the truck a factory profile after the rear TSB springs...so the .85 setting should do this.

plus, I'd prefer to maintain a little rake to the rear to allow for hauling and towing w/o a sagging butt.
