Yep, just tested it out today, left 2 stripes of rubber on the pavement, and 2 ruts in the dirt. Also explains why it feels like I'm pushing the front end when making sharp turns in soft stuff like sand. Not the best setup for extreme wheeling, but way better than an open diff, and it came with the truck so I don't have to dick with it :D Might dick with it later, but not for a while, got lots of other things to do first before I'd need a better locker.

Def better than an open diff!!

I am not sure if I am going to go w/ a full blown locker (arb) or a power trax yet. Guess it depends on how much my income tax check is.

Hey can someone chime in on this? Obviously changed my plugs and wires...

The spark plug boots on the driver's side seem very rudimentary in the way they sit on the valve cover. I mean all I did was put a little bead of dielectric grease on the underneath/bottom of the boot and push the spark plug boot as far as it would go down onto the plug. The flange of the boot is literally just sitting on top of the valve cover.

Is this enough to make it water tight? Before I put everything back together I made sure I pushed everything into place as best I could.

Yes. If you pull on the boots they shouldn't pull off easily

    Alright I'll go check.

The write up I followed says, "[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][SIZE=-1]This is why you use dielectric grease on the boot! It makes it almost effortless to remove the boots in the future"

    lol

    Thanks for the reply

I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as the boot flange is touching the cover youre all good
