Hey - I have a 2007 2.7L SR5 Prerunner (Manual 5 speed). It recently started 'shuddering' when I start off in 1st gear. I betting it may be time for a new clutch (125,000 on the truck), but just curious if there could be something else that could cause it.

Appreciate any advice. Man I don't want to spend $1500 on a clutch....

Sounds like hot spots and glazing on the pressure plate / flywheel.
