    it was hot out though. high 80's I think. If I had been feeling better yesterday I had thought about camping up there, didn't know there was still snow on the ground! :eek: Glad I just made it a day trip and not an overnighter....brrr...

    Not too high. Just right. I could stand up under it :D


    All the vehicles there were great. I couldn't pick a favorite one.

    What did you think of the quality of the pics? They all seemed to be very sharp, compared to my 18-135. I'm really liking the sigma lens.

    So you don't like the 18-135? :confused: I have no complaints about mine.
    But the pics do look good, very crisp

    I like the 18-135, i dont' know what it is, but a lot of my pictures don't seem crisp and clean. Then i put that 70-200 on there and pretty much every picture was crisp and clean.

    This is probably my favorite picture from the group. For what ever reason, when I use the 18-135 they don't turn out this crisp. It is completely untouched, all i did was convert it to .jpg.

    I know a few of my pics have turned out blurry but I was thinking it was an autofocus issue :notsure: Something in the frame is in focus, just not how I wanted it to be....

    My pics have been much better now that i picked the center point to focus on. But i still seem to get a lot of pics that just aren't crisp and clean.

    We still have a lot of homes and business without power thismorning. I am lucky as we have power. My neighbors across the street have not had power since Friday night.

    On Saturday my son and I cleaned up our street from fallen tree limbs. We started at 07:30 and finished when the chipper shredder gave up the ghost at 04:30.

    The chipper shredder had been in the elements unused for about 6 years. I cleaned it up and got it running on Friday. There was a little water in the oil so I was happy that it started up. I was surprised that it lasted as long as it did before giving it up. I will probably tear it apart this week to see what actually happened in the motor.

    On the bright side I have free mulch for the veggie gardenand a lot of free firewood for next winter.
