Honestly I think it's a good height. Any lower and you woulda had no bed storage space

 

I think it could be a great experience! Helping out and aiding misfortunate countries could be a very rewarding experience. But you should really feel certain about it because its a huge commitment. I tip my hat to you sir

I have a couple friends who are in it and they love it. I've done short term work with them before. Like any other big life choice there's always a little case of cold feet. But as of right now I need to be accepted, graduate and get a new passport.

That's a good point too. That's why if i do an rtt i want it as close to level with the bed as possible. My roof is already too tall for all the trees around here and I'm not too concerned with losing bed space.

If they get tweaked then i will have to figure out a way to untweak them I guess. Plus that is pretty much with full weight on them in the pic so they may not flex enough to catch the doors on anything but major slider hits.
