so im looking at doing a HID kit swap for the headlights and fog lights does anyone have a good place to look at getting them. i ordered them from carid.com but they keep sending me the wrong bulbs and its ridiculous. so if anybody has a different company or website i can get these from that wont give me such a problem i would really appreciate it.

If you really must go with an HID kit, check out DDM tuning. There are better options out there though...

A good set of halogens would give you a better usable light pattern for road driving. I've had great luck with Philips Xtreme bulbs and PIAA bulbs. I believe another one is Narva. If you want HID's, I'd suggest doing the responsible thing and at put them into projectors otherwise you get a lot of scattered light.

DDM tuning gets my vote. I live 20 min from their shop in Huntington Beach, and I've always bought all my exterior lighting from them. They warranty their ballasts for life!

Mine are from DDM, are 6 months old and are very very good. I'd recommend them to anyone who has prior experience with HID kits since they are purchased a la carte style...that is you pick the bulbs, ballasts, and harnesses all separately. When they arrive, its a box of HID 'stuff' without any wiring diagrams (mainly needed for hi-low relay) . I didn't have too much of a problem connecting everything since I've worked with HIDs before...it took longer to determine my wire routing that it did to connect everything.

If you need more of a 'kit' approach, it may be worthwhile calling them up before you order otherwise choose another vendor. Also, HID discussion here is generally frowned upon unless you are converting the headlamps to projectors...even then you'll receive some comments about reduced light output...
