    So its infact not a TRD model and if the dealer was advertising it as one then you can get them for false advertising of a product.

    umm, can i trust this truck or this dealership? the dealer must have put the stickers on because the autotrader listing DID NOT show them in the pictures!!!

    ...I must say also though, if you are happy with the price you paid for the truck (this is what truly matters) and you don't want to stir a fuss (although I would have a fucking HAY-DAY with these people), and you can live without a overhead temp gauge, a plug in socket in the bed of the truck, and "different" seats, who cares?!

    I have an SR5 non TRD, and I don't think anyone who's seen my truck in person could ever tell!

    And for the suspension!, we can get you on the track to getting a whole NEW suspension on Toyota's dime if it's still under warranty! Does the truck have an extended factory warranty from toyota by chance?

    no, it has no extended warranty. The warranty i was given was from honda, its a 2 month "honda guarantee"

    I dont care that it's not TRD, but i am pretty pissed that they would throw on those stickers. what should i do? recommendations please!!!

    maybe you can tell me if i got a good price. It has a wonderful tint job, a VERY clean interior and exterior and 38k miles. I paid 16k for it. Should i try to get my $$ back?

    You can take your VIN to the Toyota dealer, go to the parts desk and ask them to print you off a vehicle ID reports. That will tell you all the options it has on it. It even tells you how much the original MSRP was.

    Personally...I'd be flipping out. I'd make for DAMN sure that it REALLY isn't a TRD. I'd double check to see what fair retail values are for a TRD and non TRD truck. And then call the dealership and give them one shot to fix it. If they don't...I'd be talking to a laywer about fraud.

    You asked about a fair price...You need to know the options packages it has first...and go from there. +1 on going to Toyota and getting their info on it.

    Start by finding out what you are driving...Go to Toyota with the VIN and find out what you have. Figure out if you over payed. If you didn't and you like the truck...Don't worry about it. The stickers can be taken off or left there and it won't matter a lick. If you did over pay or don't like the truck...Talk to the dealer and see what you can work out.

    Any TW members in the area of this guy that can give him a hand? Go over the truck and confirm TRD or not? Maybe he can de-spyware your laptop in exchange for your help. What is the KBB on SR5 vs TRD? You do need to talk to Toyota, take your registration in to the service department and ask very nicely to run the VIN and give you a copy. Did they give you a CarFax print with the truck? IF not maybe someone can run one for you.

    simple, go back there after printing out this thread. Also, keep the auto trader listing without the pictures. Was it advertised in the book as a trd? If not, they could just say that "you added the decals, not us"
