You guys have done well this year. What's the name of the award that goes to the team with the worst offseason record? I know Oregon came in second last year (or was it the year before?). Effin Masoli and Harris. Also, our kicker even got arrested that year.

Some of those are funny though. One guy got arrested for damaging someones hood by sliding across it.

    Edit: Found it... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulmer_Cup

Remember, this is from 2010-present. Cliff was our best comedy for sure. We actually have to add one on here for Masoli since he was one of the ones who started it all.

This guy is nothing more than trouble - not concerned with the team or whatever... I hope he is gone, and gone for good.

Never heard of it? It's the trophy for the school that has the most convictions in a year. I think it is based on www.everydayshouldbefriday.com

It stems from the most f*ups by a school's players - taken from the name of a the former Tenn. coach Fulmer whose players had record number's arrest or whatever... Others may know more though...

No loss as far as I'm concerned. I kept hearing how he has seen the light and was going to be the real deal. All I can say is I was "hopeful" if he was playing he would actually step up but wasn't counting on it. So now I think he's done so don't have to worry about it anymore. I'm was hoping before this anyway that Marshall and Gurly would be the real deal.

    He's done!

ATHENS, Ga. -- University of Georgia running back Isaiah Crowell has been dismissed from the football team according to head coach Mark Richt.

In a statement released by the university, Richt stated:

"We have a dedicated and committed group of men who are working hard to prepare for the coming season. Our total focus will be directed toward the team and this effort."

Crowell's dismissal comes after a Friday morning arrest during a routine roadblock.

The 19-year-old was charged with carrying a weapon in a school zone and criminal use of an article (gun) with an altered ID mark, both of which are felonies. The concealed weapon charge is a misdemeanor.

(Follow 11Alive News coverage on Twitter: #Crowell)

According to police, Crowell was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt during a routine stop at traffic checkpoint at about 2:20 a.m. Friday. Police said the officer smelled marijuana, and while no marijuana was found, a 9mm gun was found under the driver's seat.

Police said Crowell was the behind the wheel of the 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis, which belongs to his mother.

Crowell was booked into the Athens-Clarke County jail and released on $7,500 bond.

"Things happen," Crowell told DawgPost.com after his release. "I don't really have a comment right now."

Four others riding in the vehicle -- freshmen Joshua Harvey Clemons, Jamal Tibbs and Sheldon Dawson; and sophomore Quintavious Harrow -- were not charged.

850 yards and 5 scores last year for the top rated HS rusher in the nation. I call that a bust. Good riddance. Hopefully this year's top RB won't end up like him...

Eh, not so much as a bust as a waste. Will give him props on getting those yard while missing so much and let's not forget that he had some torn stuff in his ankle, but I am not going to make any excuses. He was nothing more than a little thug who didn't give a shit about the the program. Got/will get what he deserves. I say good riddance, which, by the way, makes room for kamarra/Henry! So, despite being a temporary black eye for the program, I believe that things will be even better. Go Dogs!
