They are rear shocks only not fronts. Shocks don't provide lift anyways. Front 5100s just have a movable mounting plate ti precompress the coils to provide lift.

So no these wont help you. Id just buy them new anyways man.

Unless you just absolutely know what youre looking for...it's a good idea to call up DSMS and tell them what you've got, and what you want to achieve...they'll tell you exactly what you need and how much it will cost...then you can save up till you can afford it

I'm not real keen on suspension stuff either, but got real lucky and found a guy selling his rear setup before he even put it on after doing something similar...

I'm a big fan of OME lifts personally

Also i dont think the 5125s are all extended length...but can be ordered to varying lengths depending on application and need

I think i will do that.. i had no idea about all the bilstein and OME stuff when i went the rough country route and im less than pleased with the outcome.. Looks good and thats it, i can get away with keeping the shackles i will just do the front and be done and hopefully happy....until i hit a jackpot and do LT haha

    no truck now :(
Prior to loosing my Taco, I had installed the Toytec Ultimate lift kit on the front (new Bilstein 5100 shocks, 650 lbs Eibach springs (was planning on putting a winch and bumper on, so got the heaviest load springs they had), which also came with the diff drop kit (worth installing), and 5100s for the rear as well. I also purchased Wheelers Offroad HD 5-leaf springs, to completely replace the rear suspension (my OE springs were toast and no add-a-leaf was going to help them)... I also installed new UCAs and replaced my lower ball joints (LBJs needed replacement due to.... crash damage.. lol) Now, mind you, you can get the 4-pack and use the AAL from the Ultimate Kit, or just use the add-a-leaf in your OE springs, but I found the ride and handling after installing the 5-leaf was friggin amazing compared to stock. Either way, you'll need to lift the rear about another 1" to 1.5" to level the truck out.. the Toytec front shock/springs come set between 2.5" - 3" out of the box and on stock Taco suspension in the rear you'll have bro-lean... lol

Took me about 10-12 hours to do the suspension myself, with some help from a couple of friends and a grinder for the front OE shock top bolts and the rear leaf bolts. (Gotta love rust) If you can find my build thread.. (shoudl still be in my signature), you'll see the resulting outcome.. much fun had with that lift.

I have the All Pro standard duty 3" springs and the lift is perfect with stock shackles. The flex is amazing with them and ride only gets better with more weight in the bed. I like the all pro springs cause you dont need an aal. You can get the Expedition packs if your going to have more weight in the bed.
