Hey guys, I've been browsing the forums for I don't know, like 3 hours? :D
Anyways I decided to make an account becasue I'm getting a 2012 Tacoma next week!*hopefully* And I wanted to ask you guys if there are any mods to make on a stock Taco. Yeah I know there's like a billion threads on mods, but that's exactly why I'm asking. So far I have the following on my list:
    >Hose clamps to tailgate to stop the tailgate bandits
    >Add locks to bed storage compartments
    >Light for center console
    >D-rings for bed
    >Bike mount!
Not really any major mods, just a few small things
So what do you guys think?

My situation and list is the same, except instead of a center console light I want a bed work light. No bike mount, either. Definitely a horse mat for the bed, which I have read how to cut on here. And a Softopper which I am buying off this forum. And Weathertech floor mats I also just bought off this site. And the Wet Okole seat cover group buy in a couple months. And something better (read: more expensive) than a roof rack for my kayak which I just got some ideas for on here.

None of these were necessities until I got a truck and joined here. Who knew!

Not 100%sure put probably double cab short bed, by the way, I have a dirt bike and with the short bed, I would have to keep the tailgate down when it's loaded on it. Is it true the tailgates bend if they have weight on them?
