The yellow filters are combo filters one filter is for flood pattern and the other is for spot. I had the same questing so i called LF and asked. I have one more package to mail you tomorrow.

you should see my back/shoulders. bright fucking red. Only on my shoulders and edges of my back. It's a life jacket burn. I even put on sunscreen half way through the day and i just got fried. It hurts so bad, i can reach my arms back a tad past 90 degrees before they just start searing.

Thanks man. I'll just have to seewhere it all ends up. I still want as much access as possible to the bed but I like the idea of the weight being centered over that axle as Ian suggested.

So no votes for it being up against the rear window eh?

I wouldnt. Weight over the axle is the best choice. It will be the comfiest for your truck too. If that makes sense. How much room would you have of both sides if you centered it? Can you fit a tool box in front?

 

I like the last pic the most. I miss not having my tripod, i just lost the foot. What settings were you using?

 

Definitely not against the window. Will be hard to access the tent to set it up and take down.

I bet the way I'm talking it ends up mostly over the axle. I know mine will be close to to that.

Whats the bulb setting? When you say remote shutter do you mean you used a remote to control the shutter?

 

There would be room either way for the toolbox. The problem comes when you try to open the toolbox lid. With the tent centered, the lid may hit the bottom of the tent platform and keep it from opening all the way. Not really sure, gonna have to play around with it to be certain.

If I do position it back towards the tailgate another wrinkle is added potential for more frame flex or even bending the frame where the "c" channel starts. I do have a set of Mercer frame reinforcement plates I can have installed to address that though.

I really like that one shot where the neighbor has lighting hitting the hedge trees. I really like background lighting on subjects.

 

The only night shots ive ever played with is with the moon. That was fully zoomed in. I wish it was crisper on the egdes

 

I used a very high shutter speed. I think the only reason it looks kinda blurry is cause i wasnt using a remote. pressing the button was enough to affect it

 

Nope. Car cranks over just fine just doesn't fire up.

All this tent talk makes me really want one! Haha

I know but the gf would have killed me if i spent that much on a tent.

Cuz they were.orginally designed to go on a roof
