You've got your cutting done, but for others who hit this thread..

I bought a horse stall mat from Tractor Supply. I tried my skill saw, that didn't work out well at all. I next tried my jig saw. That works just fine but make sure the mat is well supported or the "jiggle" will slow you down and cause the cut to wander. It took just a few minutes with the jig saw.

Same here. Jig saw with a 10 TPI Wood Blade. It came out perfect.

I went and got one of these stall mats. And was going to use my Olfa knife. But I changed my mind and returned it and spent the extra $60 and got the Toyota mat. Saved the weight and didn't risk cutting my femoral artery. Very satisfied with my decision.

I've cut a hundred of these mats. We use stall mats in our horse barn. A very sharp utility knife ( I like the carpet type you can extend out and break the tips off) and a good flat straight edge work well. Usually make 2 passes and you are thru.

We just cut a 1/2" thick Tractor Supply Store stall mat at a member's house the other weekend and a powered jig saw made very short work of it.

Just cut up a mat from TSC. There will be some more trimming needed for the D-rings but it was much easier than I thought it would be to slice through it with a utility knife. The hardest part was getting it into my friend's truck at the store and then carrying it to my truck once we got back to the town. It's HEAVY and awkward and is hopefully not coming out for a long time! It'll make spontaneous camping and drive-in movies so much better though.

I gotta try this on my tundra bed mat.
I couldn't give it away & do not want to buy "another" tacoma bed mat. :(
The weather needs to warm up first.
Thanks for the suggestion...it can be done!

Thanks for all the input guys. I ended up using an Olfa knife (box cutter) against a piece of 1/2 inch plywood for a straight edge. It was easy and only took about 10 minutes. If I did it again, I would use a little oil to make it even easier.
